Monkey Paw

This March, Monkey Paw will have its premiere by the Explore Ensemble at the Royal College of Music. Renowned as "one of the preeminent new music groups blending live and electronic sound," this six-piece ensemble will bring to life a satirical work that explores the dangers of ever-advancing Artificial Intelligence. Monkey Paw tells the story of a fictional "Composer's AI," designed to assist composers in creating music, but comically failing to deliver the desired results. The piece offers a hilarious yet biting commentary on the unintended consequences of AI.
